Our pop up cinema is 1 year old! And we’re delighted to share new dates.

First up – this Friday the 29th, we’re showing Some Like it Hot. Because how better to celebrate an anniversary than with a tea party…a Boston tea party with Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon, and Marilyn Monroe. The Billy Wilder classic will be shown in our relaxed venue (Prestwick’s Community Centre) and with subtitles. The venue is accessible, and tickets are free – just come along. We have tables and chairs, free refreshments, and a warm welcome for everyone – our cinema isn’t an exclusive thing for people living with dementia, it’s for everyone. It’s fine to make a little bit of noise, stretch your legs and get a top up of tea throughout the film.

Thank you to our current funders – Asda’s community “green token” fund, and Prestwick and Villages Locality Planning Group’s participatory budgeting event (phew!) aka Prestwick’s Decision Day. And a big thanks to our volunteers.

We look forward to the next 12 months!
