Grace Heart & Voice is a local choir, and on the evening of Friday 27th October they are holding a choral concert with Christina Whyte (Soprano) and Lindsay Brodie (Piano). Join us in St Ninian’s Episcopal Church, Maryborough Road, Prestwick to raise funds for Dementia Friendly Prestwick. We thank them warmly, and we’re looking forward to the concert. Join us, 7:30pm.

 

A bit more info about the performers:

Grace Dunworth led the TANTALLON SINGERS, a successful junior choir based in the south of Glasgow during the ‘8o’s and ’90’s. Many of the members grew up to be professional musicians, two of whom are Christina Whyte and Lindsay Brodie, who were best friends in the choir.

Grace loves to keep in touch with for her former choir members.

ChristinaWhyte studied at Douglas Academy Music School Glasgow and trained at Trinity College of Music in London.

Christina’s current work is in Dublin. She sings with Chamber Choir Ireland, is in demand as a soloist throughout the region. Christina sings regularly with RTE Radio and on CDs. As well as her singing career she directs several choirs.

Lindsay Brodie started to play piano aged 5. She studied music at the University of Glasgow and became a class music teacher. Having taught in Vancouver, Canada, she now works at Williamwood High School in East Renfrewshire. She has played in numerous piano bars in Glasgow and is a fine accompanist.
