Description
Delivering weekly ‘Bags of Support’ lunches to older people who may or may not be living with dementia and or their carers
Main Duties: To collect bags from a Prestwick location and deliver to up to 4 households spending time on the doorstep providing supportive chat as required. There may be further opportunities to become involved in food preparation should you choose to do so.

Time required up to 2 hrs, from 11:45am to 1:45pm at the latest on Thursdays.
Experience required: Must drive and have access to transport, enjoy spending time with older people.

Minimum age: 18

Training details: Dementia awareness training will be provided to all volunteers, there will be an opportunity to shadow an existing volunteer. We are a small and friendly team and informal peer support is key to what we do.
